As previously mentioned, Sightlines-Initiative ReFocus network and Studio UK are hosting an International Design Conference, September 17th. The conference runs all day and is being held at The Southbanks Centre which is the headquarters of The London Design Festival. Registration deadline is September 7th.

Steve and his family have recently relocated, so he has been away from his blog but has said that he will be back on track very soon. Why not take this opportunity to catch up on reading his previous entries.

In June, artist and poet Eireann Lorsung’s mother, suffered a brain aneurysm rupture. According to the doctors, only one in ten people survive. Eireann’s mom has astounded her doctors and therapists with her strength and progress – I am happy to report that she is on the road to recovery.

A friend suggested an auction of handmade things to help cover her mom’s medical bills and with the support of a talented number of people, the auction has begun!
