The World Forum on Early Care and Education is being held in Malaysia this year and I am happy to report that Ms. Quincilia Siah, an ECCE Instructor in Vancouver, BC, and a former colleague of mine, will be in attendance.

Quincilia was born in the city of Kota Kinabalu in the state of Sabah. She left Malaysia with her family, in 1989 when she was 13 years old, and it has been nine years since her last visit. Ms. Siah's trip was planned around a family event and she is ecstatic that the World Forum is taking place during her stay, and that with the help of her school, she is able to attend.
